Monday was an easy 4 after the Freeport Half last Sunday.

Tuesday through Friday I chose to run between 7:30 and 7:50 pace. My legs were still feeling a bit tired and I knew I had a very long run coming up on Sunday.

Saturday was a nice easy run. I ran the first three at a nice leisurely pace with my son before his flag football game.

Sunday was a long run of 19 miles. It was a lot of time on the road- about 2:40 total. I drove the route ahead of time and dropped a couple water bottles at mile 6 and 12. That strategy worked out pretty well. I ate a couple of energy chews at each location as well.

Need to spice things up next week with some fast stuff.
