ARC’TERYX is quickly becoming one of my favorite brands. They make high quality products with the best materials. I like the style, and I love the fit and feel of their running gear. The Motus Crew long sleeve top is a fantastic example.
It’s springtime in New Hampshire, which means the weather can fluctuate wildly. We could have snow one day and mild temperatures the next. It’s not time to pull out the summer gear, but it’s too hot to run in tights and layers. A breathable long sleeve shirt is what you need to regulate your body temperature during your spring training runs.
The Motus Crew is a lightweight, breathable, quick-drying shirt made from a material called Phasic. It’s a blend of 70% polyester and 30% polypropylene that offers protection form the sun (UPF 25) and minimal odor retention. The material is stretchy and smooth. It moves with your body and feels great against your skin.
I really like the anatomical design of the Motus Crew long sleeve. It fits a runner’s body well and the sleeves are long enough to cover the length of my arms. At 6′ 4″ and 175 lbs, this isn’t always the case with other brands. Also, the shirt hangs down just a bit longer on the backside, which makes running in tights a bit less provocative. The crew neck design is comfortable without being loose.
The shirt has a reflective ARC’TERYX logo on the chest and a reflective blaze on the arm just below the elbow. The Motus CREW LS is available in men’s or women’s styles and in four different colors.
