Have you heard about this yet?
San Francisco start-up Slick Bib is marketing themselves as an athletic apparel company that combines form and function for runners. They are producing tech shirts with a plastic pouch to hold race bibs as an alternative to safety pins. Slick Bib started a Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for their new product that will rid the world of accidental pin pricks, floppy bibs, and pin-cushioned running shirts.
So what do you think? Do we need an alternative to safety pins? Would you buy a Slick Bib shirt?
Slick Bib has sourced fabric suppliers, vetted production facilities and are ready to move forward. But they can only move forward with additional funding. If you’re interested, you can read more about them here.
