Roasted Garbonzo Beans

Hungry runners are always looking for something quick and easy to snack on.  Here’s a delicious, guilt-free, protein-packed snack you’re going to love!

Roasted Garbanzo Beans:

1.  Rinse 2 cans of garbanzo beans (also known as chick peas) under cold water, then blot dry with a clean towel before putting in a medium size bowl.

2.  Drizzle 2 tablespoons of extra-virgin olive oil and season to taste with your favorite seasonings. Stir with your hands to be sure the beans are all evenly coated.

  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Kosher salt
  • Fresh ground pepper
  • Oregano

3.  Arrange the beans in a single layer on a foil-lined cookie sheet and bake at 400ยบ F for 40
minutes.  Enjoy!
